Remote sensing of tropical ecosystems – advanced
In this course analysis and the processing of the various satellite images will be provided to gain information on aquatic, coastal and terrestrial ecosystems. For each type of the ecosystem different workflow will be provided and participants will gain practical knowledge on obtaining the spatial distribution of each ecosystem. Additionally, time series analysis of the satellite images for each ecosystem will be provided and the participants will be taught to analyze trends of change.
